A CLOSER LOOK CASE # 992 UFNV 1982 W 55 TO 60 YRS.

WHO:   This female was 5’4″, 138 lbs. with  Brown, graying 3 inches in length. Eye Color: Hazel  Distinguishing Marks/Features: 2 ½ inch long healed scar on left side of umbilicus. Maxillary partial denture-cast gold. Replace 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12. Precision attachments placed for intercoronal attachments to #4, 11, 14 crowns. Mandibular partial denture-cast gold. Replace 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31. Precision intercoronal attachments for bicuspid position on right & left. Abutment attachment to partial teeth #21, 22, 27, 28

WHAT:   Blue pants, multi-colored blouse with flowers, and a white shirt. Jewelry: White metal ring with 6 clear stones. White metal wedding style ring. White metal earrings. Two white metal necklaces. Additional Personal Items: A purse (no description available).

WHEN AND WHERE:   July 10, 1982  Location of Discovery: Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada  Estimated Date of Death: Recent

HOW:  The victim was found slumped over in a stall in the ladies restroom at the Greyhound bus station on 200 South Main Street. Her purse was hanging on the door handle inside of the stall. There was no identification inside the purse or on her body. Investigators believe her wallet had been stolen.

A CLOSER LOOK CASE # 3186 UMFL 1996 W 35 TO 42 YRS.

WHO:   This male was 5’7 1/2″ and Healed nasal fractures, bilaterally. Noticeable gap between upper front teeth. Tooth # 10 was lost significantly antemortem; however the surrounding teeth did not drift appreciably, leaving a noticeable gap between the left central incisor (#9) and left canine (#11).

WHAT:  Maroon sweatpants, green T-shirt, green army-type jacket, Sasson brand shorts and white socks. BIC disposable razor, ink pen, a whetstone, 2 tubes of lip balm and $.68 in coins, the latest dated 1986.

WHEN AND WHERE:  September 23, 1996  Location of Discovery: Baldwin, Duval County, Florida  Estimated Date of Death: 1986-1996

HOW:  The victim’s remains were found by Florida D.O.T. in a wooded area adjacent to I-10 westbound at the US 301 exit ramp in Baldwin, within the area circumscribed by the exit ramp. The cranium was extensively fractured, consistent with blunt force trauma and indicative of at least one blow to the right side of the head, behind the ear. His hands were not recovered.

A CLOSER LOOK CASE # 3185 UMON 1978 UNK 30 TO 60 YRS.

WHO:   This male was 5’4″ to 5’6″, 140 to 150 lbs. and has his appendix present.  Upper right central incisor has a silicate/resin restoration. Impacted wisdom tooth on lower left jaw. Robust jaws and dentition.

WHAT:  Red, wool sweater, white shirt, green pants, and short brown socks.

WHEN AND WHERE:  October 9, 1978  Location of Discovery: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada  Estimated Date of Death: Months to years

HOW:  The body of this male was found in Hamilton, Ontario on October 9, 1978.  He was a the shoreline at the east end of the Hamilton Harbour, south side of the Skyway Bridge near the Queen Elizabeth Way, 3 km north of the Burlington Street cutoff.

WHO:   This male was 5’7″, 194 lbs. with Black and wavy, about 3.5″ long. Black facial hair above lip. and brown eyes.

WHAT:   Black leather belt with white metal buckle; black bikini underpants; blue denim jeans; one AIR black athletic shoe size 7 1/2.

WHEN AND WHERE:   June 2, 2006  Location of Discovery: Immokalee, Collier County, Florida  Estimated Date of Death: Hours prior

HOW:  The decedent was struck by a vehicle at CR 890 and Lake Trafford Road, in Immokalee, Florida on June 2, 2006.

A CLOSER LOOK CASE # 3183 UMFL 1982 B 20 TO 30 YRS.

WHO:   This male was 5  11 12″, 150 lbs. with a slight mustache and goatee. Well-healed scar on right leg below the patella; 2.5 cm. in diameter with loss of hair. Uncircumcised.

WHAT:  Khaki work shirt; clean intact Levi pants with leather belt; red boxer shorts; white undershirt; khaki stockings; black desert boots; blue and yellow softball-type hat. Ankle weights present on both legs.

WHEN AND WHERE:  April 27, 1982  Location of Discovery: St. Johns County, Florida  Estimated Date of Death: Minutes prior.

HOW:  The decedent was struck by a motor vehicle on southbound State Road 13 in St. Johns County, Florida on April 27, 1982.

WHO:   This female was 5’6″. Race is unknown.

WHAT:   Clothing found with the remains consists of a sleeveless pullover top/halter with narrow straps.

WHEN AND WHERE:   October 21, 1986  Location of Discovery: Nassau County, Florida  Estimated Date of Death: 1986

HOW:  The decedent was located just north of the Welcome Station off I-95 in Nassau County, Florida on October 21, 1986.

A CLOSER LOOK CASE # 79 UMFL 1990 W 40 TO 60 YRS.

WHO:   This male was 6’2″ to 6’4″ with blond to light brown hair.  Possible old laminectomy L4-L5; styloid process on right ulna was very short or broken away and remaining stump eburnated; perforation through left maxillary sinus with fistulous tract from chronic sinus infection; one or more healed fractures of nasal bones; at least partially healed fracture of right second rib. Extensive dental work. #5&9: root canal therapy completed; #23-26: fractured; #13: acrylic composite/veneer; #20: tilted distally; #27: rotated; #2,3,7,9,10,11, 12,15 & 18: severe bone loss.

WHAT:   Size 40 blue button-down shirt; blue Hager pants size 40 long; a white T-shirt; a light gray jacket; black socks; size 13 black leather shoes with laces; white boxer underwear; and a brown belt. He was carrying a hat/visor. A key chain with 4 keys, 2 being car key of General Motors’, a government-issued ball point pen, black frame, non prescription sunglasses, super glue, nail clippers, plastic comb and a black smoking pipe.

WHEN AND WHERE:  January 20, 1990  Location of Discovery: Little Talbot Island, Duval County, Florida  Estimated Date of Death: 3-6 months prior.

HOW:  The victim’s skeletal remains located Off the Atlantic coast, at 15000 Block of Hecksher Drive, twenty miles from downtown Jacksonville, Florida, On Little Talbot Island, in a wooded area. Little Talbot Island is a undeveloped, barrier island near the Duval/Nassau County line, in Northeast Florida. The entire island – 2,500 acres – is a State Park.  He was found resting up against a tree and seated on plastic material.

A CLOSER LOOK CASE # 1460 UFID 2014 W/MIX 45 TO 50 YRS.

WHO:   This female was white with possibly mixed ancestry,. She was 5’5″ to 5’7″, 140 to 177 lbs. with  Hair: Brown and cut short. Eyebrows recently plucked. and Hazel eyes.  Three moles on face. One on the forehead, one on the left cheek and one below the lip. Possibly had a scar on the left arm. Teeth well cared for. Three veneers present in the front.

WHAT:    Black clothing (further description unavailable). Size 11.5 men’s shoes that did not fit her feet.  Two $5 and one $20 bill near the body that may have been folded and placed in her pocket.

WHEN AND WHERE:   September 9, 2014   Location of Discovery: Twin Falls, Twin Falls County, Idaho.  Estimated Date of Death: Days prior.

HOW:   The decedent was discovered in the Snake River on September 9, 2014 near the I.B. Perrine Bridge at 2:15 PM by kyakers. The woman may have jumped from the bridge.

THE REST OF THE STORY:   She was buried on October 3, 2014.

A CLOSER LOOK CASE # 3144 UMOH 1988 W 18 TO 22 YRS.

WHO:   This male was 5’8″, 137 lbs. with Brown wavy hair, about 4″ long. Beard and mustache about .5″ long. Vertical, .5″ scar on right side of forehead with previous stitches. 3″ scar on front of right shoulder. On the right palm, near the thumb, there was a .5″ well-healed scar. Scar on back of left ring finger with previous stitches, .5″ long. 4.5″ scar three inches below right knee with purple coloration, as wide as .25″.

WHAT:   Red hooded sweatshirt. Rustler brand blue jeans. Brown belt with white metal oval belt buckle. Gray and white running shoes.  Jewelry: Yellow-metal Timex wristwatch.

WHEN AND WHERE:   October 27, 1988  Location of Discovery: Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.  Estimated Date of Death: Hours prior.

HOW:   The decedent was found at the bottom of a stairwell on October 27, 1988.

WHO:   This male was  Balding and hair measured 7″ in the back. Wore a “heavy” beard and mustache. Eye Color: Gray.

WHAT:   Unknown

WHEN AND WHERE:   May 14, 1999  Location of Discovery: New York, New York County, New York.  Estimated Date of Death: Recent

HOW:   The decedent was located in the hallway of a vacant residence at 342 E Houston Street in New York by the landlord. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
